Because They Serve, They Deserve!

Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, L.E.A.D., is an advocate for law enforcement officers by providing national recognition for their dedication and a showcase of their accomplishments.

Law enforcement officers place their lives on the line every day to protect the citizens of their community. L.E.A.D. allows citizens to acknowledge with gratitude the hard work, dedication, selflessness, and courage it takes to become and serve as a law enforcement officer.

Plans are now in place to provide scholarships for officers and their children to further their education in the law enforcement profession.

A Message from Carolyn Duren

As the founder and national spokesperson for the program, I have honored and interviewed some of the finest officers in the field.

I have watched them give me and the camera their stories. They are passionate about what they do and they have much to offer.

These officers put themselves on the line each day to serve and protect our way of life. I invite you to join me in showing them our appreciation.
